We are looking for presenters for upcoming The Rosewood Institute Events. All submissions will be reviewed by a review committee that will be selecting presentation topics which speak to the concerns of health care professionals who come in contact with eating disorders. Also under consideration is the speaker’s experience and credentials to speak on the abstract submitted. We are seeking abstract submittals for presentations that are 90 minutes in length.
We review submittals as they are received for consideration for upcoming events. Only submittals that are complete will be considered. Please submit the following information:
- Presentation title, intended audience, method (if applicable. Ex: didactic, experiential, etc.), length (90 minutes)
- Presenter’s Information – must submit for ALL presenters – names, degrees, licenses and current affiliations.
- UpdatedCVs for all presenters which includes current mailing and email addresses and all phone numbers.
- Proposal Syllabus — brief presentation abstract describing presentation ideas, themes and goals.
- Three (3) behaviorally measurable learning objectives — please note: measurable learning objectives must complete the statement: “Following this presentation, participants will be able to identify, utilize, explain…”
- Outline of presentation content.
- Brief biographies for all presenters — including descriptions of your professional experience including your current title, professional affiliation, relevant publications, organizations, private practice address, and areas of expertise.
- We also suggest three (3) references from journals or books published in the last 5 years, which are relevant to the effectiveness of the program content. No self-referencing please.
- Honorarium requirements, if any.
